Arturo González

Arturo González, originally from Bell Ville, Córdoba Province, and raised in San Lorenzo, Santa Fe, Argentina, discovered his passion for gastronomy at a young age thanks to his grandmother, Justina Paz (Abuela Pitina). She not only raised him but also taught him how to cook, instilling in him both a love for food and the traditions of his ancestors.

He trained at the Gato Dumas Culinary School in Rosario and later earned a scholarship from ICEX, the Government of Spain, to study at the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastián, where he completed the Spanish Cuisine Program. His education continued with specialized courses, including the Advanced Culinary Training program at the Basque Culinary Center, the CAB Protein Course in Nebraska, USA, and the Sous-Vide Cuisine Program in Washington, USA, with Cuisine Solutions.

Arturo has built a remarkable career working for prestigious international brands such as Meliá Hotels International and Hard Rock, gaining experience across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Colombia, the United States, and Argentina. He has held leadership roles including Executive Chef, Regional Chef, and Corporate Chef.

Today, he proudly serves as Executive Chef at Hyatt Ziva Cancún, leading the culinary team and showcasing his blend of international expertise, heritage, and innovation.

Daniel Ibarra

Chef Daniel Ibarra, originally from Argentina, brings over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry, specializing in Argentine, Italian, and French cuisines. His career has spanned prestigious roles including grill chef, pizzaiolo, sous chef, chef de partie, and executive chef, as well as running his own restaurants and culinary ventures.

He has led high-profile gastronomic events for major companies such as Ford, Chevrolet, VW, YPF, HSBC, and Bayer, and has had the honor of cooking for global icons like Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, Enzo Francescoli, and former President Mauricio Macri.

Chef Ibarra represented Argentina at the Resegna dei Cuochi in Italy and contributed to two Guinness World Records. Passionate about education, he has also served as an instructor in workshops, seminars, and consulting projects—bringing technical precision and culinary creativity to every endeavor.

Today, he leads the culinary vision of Karuma, a refined steakhouse in Puerto Vallarta, where his mastery of open-fire cooking and premium ingredients offer guests a truly elevated dining experience.
