Founded in 1995 by visionary chefs Thierry Blouet, Roland Menetrey, and Heinz Reize —fondly known as “The Three Musketeers”—, the International Gourmet Festival has revolutionized Mexico’s culinary landscape. Driven by a shared dream to establish Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, and Tepic as world-class gastronomic destinations, these chefs combined talent and passion to launch an unprecedented event.
What began as a bold initiative with a handful of local restaurants and guest chefs has grown over three decades into Mexico’s premier gourmet celebration. Each November, the festival gathers internationally renowned chefs, sommeliers, winemakers, and food lovers, transforming the Mexican Pacific into a hub of culinary artistry.
Now celebrating its 30th edition, the International Gourmet Festival stands as a symbol of excellence, innovation, and tradition, offering exclusive events, wine-paired dinners, gourmet safaris, and unforgettable experiences that honor haute cuisine. Its legacy continues, firmly established as Mexico’s greatest gourmet tradition.
