Culinary tourism and its regional impact

The double tourist destination Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit is currently the beach place that more gastronomic tourism receives in all Mexico, after the country’s capital. Let’s discover the reasons that make us a great gourmet destination!

According to figures from the Congress and Visitor’s Office of Puerto Vallarta, last year more than four million tourists were received both internationals and Mexicans, said the former President of the Tourism Board: Agustín Álvarez Valdivia.

The homologous office in the neighboring Riviera Nayarit registered about 3 million domestic and foreign tourists, which is the highest figure reached by the most important tourist destination in the state of Nayarit.
