Chef Andreas Fischer
Born in Germany, Chef Andreas completed his classical cuisine education and internship at the Parkhotel Altmühltal Hotel in Gunzenhausen. After working in excellent and refined hotels and restaurants in Germany and Switzerland like the Waldhotel National in Arosa and Hotel Kemmeriboden-Bad in Schangnau, he moved to Puerto Vallarta in 2015 and has led the Azafrán Restaurant as Executive Chef since. Chef Andres brings a fresh, sustainable and refined approach to the kitchen, using only the finest local ingredients for a modern mix of the classics from his mother’s kitchen, modern Mediterranean cuisine and advanced European technique.
Chef Fabian Saalfeld
Born in Germany, Chef Fabian Saafeld completed his education at the Landhaus Hotel Waitz GmbH close to Frankfurt and his internship at the Michelin Star Restaurant, Le Céladon in Paris, France. A certified Master Chef, he has gained experience and worked in fine dining restaurants including Verve by Sven in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland (1* Michelin and 14 Points Gault Millau) and Spettacolo by Lenkerhof in Lenk, Switzerland (17 Points Gault Millau). His latest jobs include Head Chef of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar and in Sexy Fish in Miami, FL. Fabián brings to the table an innovative and different menu using fresh and sustainable ingredients combined with the classic techniques of European cuisine and the passion for cooking that is felt in all his dishes. An avid soccer player, he loves to travel, ride his bike and of course, cook!
