Since the earliest days of Punta Mita, the Pacifico Beach Club has been a welcoming gathering place for residents and their guests. With its unique setting overlooking the famous ocean hole “Tail of the Whale” of the Pacifico golf course, and other amenities that makes a day or night on the beach in Punta Mita even more inviting.

David de Jesús Vidales Beltrán

Chef David is a young, up-and-coming chef, known to many here in Punta Mita as the friendly chef of the Pacífico Beach Club. Originally from San Jose del Cabo, in Baja California Sur, he traveled to complete his formal chef’s training at the Corbuse Culinary Institute in Guadalajara, and took advantage of its proximity to the town of Tequila, the birthplace and official home of this famed spirit of Mexico, to learn about the history, making and unique flavor profiles of the drink.
He returned to Los Cabos to work at Ruths Chris Steak House, which taught him everything a young chef could need to know working in one of the world’s most famous steak houses, including on-going culinary training in butchery skills and the latest in trends and cooking techniques, and was sent for farm-to-table training in Wichita and Dodge City, Kansas, to learn from the experts about how to bring the finest cuts of beef to diners.
With ongoing training in service skills, restaurant management and food safety certifications, Chef David brings an experience beyond his years to Pacifico Beach Club, and meals that are beyond expectations to each patron’s plate.

Se identifica como parte de una corriente que se siente orgullosa de provocar pensamientos creativos, donde la conformidad no tiene espacio y la vida no pasa en vano, sino que pasa con el propósito de sentirse en familia, trabajar e inspirar.
Para el chef, la palabra familia es la manera de ver y manejar la vida del restaurante, siendo importante comulgar todos los días con los valores de Teté y las memorias del cocinero.

KARLA:
«Una idea familiar, es aquella que se siente en el alma y se desglosa en el plato».
Una mujer que disfruta cada ingrediente que llega al plato y reconoce que el balance es tan importante como la creatividad en revivir los sabores familiares. Regresar a la memoria gustativa para crear sensaciones a los comensales es importante y crear memorias es tan primordial como la selección de un plato para el menú.
La chef, define su estilo como una mezcla de tradiciones y técnicas, tomando como partida una idea familiar, la desglosa, le da sentido y entrega un plato inesperado y a la vez de casa.
